It was developed by a Taiwanese company called CoolBitX, which also created Sygna Bridge, a messaging service that enables Virtual Asset Service Providers to share all required compliance data.

Trezor is a hardware bitcoin wallet that works as a USB dongle. Users can safely access their cryptocurrency on computers that may not be secure. Trezor means “vault” in Czech and the company markets the wallet as a “bitcoin safe.” It is a single-purpose storage device for crytpocurrencies that offers several key security features, such as: PIN protection and a recovery option in case of theft.
