Tendermint is a consensus algorithm that was created by a company called All in Bits. The open source algorithm is Byzantine Fault-Tolerant and uses an authenticated encryption system to secure transactions. The Tendermint consensus mechanism was developed in 2014 for the Cosmos Network. The Interchain Foundation, which is developing the Cosmos Network, continues to employ All in Bits to support Cosmos.

APEX is building a blockchain infrastructure for consumer applications that will focus on B2C transactions on the internet. Their goal is to provide an enterprise blockchain solution for creating custom DApps that will be used by consumers. The NEO-based network was created by APEX Technologies (formerly Chinapex), an established data technology and AI company. Their network is powered by the NEO-based CPX token.

Sakura Bloom is a Japanese company that is developing a blockchain-based rewards network. It will allow businesses to create customer loyalty programs that are cross-site and cross-platform compatible. Consumers are not restricted to using their rewards with just one merchant, and can redeem them in different ways. The network is powered by the SKB token.
