Company Description

Tendermint is a consensus algorithm that was created by a company called All in Bits. The open source algorithm is Byzantine Fault-Tolerant and uses an authenticated encryption system to secure transactions. The Tendermint consensus mechanism was developed in 2014 for the Cosmos Network. The Interchain Foundation, which is developing the Cosmos Network, continues to employ All in Bits to support Cosmos.

Alqo is developing an ecosystem of decentralized products and services that will be powered by the Alqo coin (XLQ). Their blockchain-based ecosystem enables instant and anonymous transactions. The XLQ coin is designed to be a multipurpose coin that will be used by all projects in the "Alqo Planetary System." Alqo is currently building Bitfineon (cryptocurrency exchange) and Payinx (payment solution for merchants). They plan on adding more projects (planets) to their ecosystem later. The Alqo network uses a modified Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism and an improved version of Zerocoin for encryption. The Alqo DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) uses a Carbon Voting system to resolve governance issues.

IOST (Internet of Services Token) is a blockchain platform that is focused on improving transaction speed and scalability. IOST has a unique Proof of Believability consensus mechanism that is based on past contributions and behavior.
The company claims that their platform will increase security and efficiency compared to other platforms. IOST uses a sharding technique that splits the network into smaller ones and randomly assigns tasks for the nodes on the network.
