Tendermint is a consensus algorithm that was created by a company called All in Bits. The open source algorithm is Byzantine Fault-Tolerant and uses an authenticated encryption system to secure transactions. The Tendermint consensus mechanism was developed in 2014 for the Cosmos Network. The Interchain Foundation, which is developing the Cosmos Network, continues to employ All in Bits to support Cosmos.

Alqo is developing an ecosystem of decentralized products and services that will be powered by the Alqo coin (XLQ). Their blockchain-based ecosystem enables instant and anonymous transactions. The XLQ coin is designed to be a multipurpose coin that will be used by all projects in the "Alqo Planetary System." Alqo is currently building Bitfineon (cryptocurrency exchange) and Payinx (payment solution for merchants). They plan on adding more projects (planets) to their ecosystem later. CyberMiles is developing a decentralized ecosystem for e-commerce. Their blockchain platform will provide users a library of e-commerce focused smart contracts to develop DApps and will facilitate decentralized settlements between parties.
The Cybermiles blockchain will be optimized specifically for e-commerce exchanges and will maintain records of users' identities, credit histories, and reputation scores. Users will be able to enter into smart business contracts without human intervention.
