Company Description
Tendermint is a consensus algorithm that was created by a company called All in Bits. The open source algorithm is Byzantine Fault-Tolerant and uses an authenticated encryption system to secure transactions. The Tendermint consensus mechanism was developed in 2014 for the Cosmos Network. The Interchain Foundation, which is developing the Cosmos Network, continues to employ All in Bits to support Cosmos. | Alqo is developing an ecosystem of decentralized products and services that will be powered by the Alqo coin (XLQ). Their blockchain-based ecosystem enables instant and anonymous transactions. The XLQ coin is designed to be a multipurpose coin that will be used by all projects in the "Alqo Planetary System." Alqo is currently building Bitfineon (cryptocurrency exchange) and Payinx (payment solution for merchants). They plan on adding more projects (planets) to their ecosystem later. The Alqo network uses a modified Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism and an improved version of Zerocoin for encryption. The Alqo DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) uses a Carbon Voting system to resolve governance issues. | ARK, which is a fork of Lisk, is developing an interconnected blockchain ecosystem that will make it easier for users to develop their own blockchains. Ark emphasizes interoperability and usability. Their moto is “Point.Click.Blockchain” and their goal is to allow for easy deployment of DApps. Ark's "push button blockchains" can be easily created with minimal programming knowledge. Ark also hopes to encourage adoption by developers by accommodating 18 different programming languages. |
