What problem does this service solve?

Swarm's tokenization platform allows users to create tokens that represent ownership of part of an asset, secure rights to any revenue streams from that asset, and trade these tokens in a compliant manner.Smartlands lets users convert any asset into Stellar-based tokens that can be traded on their exchange.FOAM aims to to bring location data to blockchains and enable consensus driven mapping.

Company Description

Swarm is building a tokenization platform designed to leverage the benefits of blockchain to make it easier to fund and govern a variety of large real world projects. They hope to make it easier to tokenize real world assets, and make them available as investment opportunities. Swarm is also developing the SRC-20 protocol, which will define a common set of rules that a security token must follow, and will give users the ability to create DApps that follow these accepted properties. Swarm is powered by the SWM token.

Smartlands is a Stellar-based tokenization platform designed to let users create tokens for a variety of use cases. The Smartlands platform will allow token issuers to manage many legal, compliance, and due diligence procedures. It will also enable tokens to be backed by collateral and held in escrow by a custodial service. Tokens created on Smartlands will be traded on their decentralized exchange that will be powered by the SLT token.

FOAM is developing a blockchain-based location service protocol for embedding physical locations in Ethereum smart contracts. The FOAM network will use radio beacons and will provide incentives for decentralized location services that will be given by network participants. Users will stake tokens to become zone anchors, that will work with radio beacons to return location data to the network. FOAM's Proof of Location protocol will be used to confirm consensus on the location of objects and entities in space and time.
