Swarm is also developing the SRC-20 protocol, which will define a common set of rules that a security token must follow, and will give users the ability to create DApps that follow these accepted properties. Swarm is powered by the SWM token.

Ignis is a blockchain platform that is being developed by Jeluirda; the company behind Ardor and Nxt. Ignis is a child chain of the Nxt blockchain. Jelurida is developing blockchain platforms that will enable users to develop decentralized applications, and will be based on a parent and child chain architecture.
Ignis allows users to create child chains with specific features and to create tokens that meet their needs. This project is closely related to Ardor and Nxt.

Algorand is a Boston based company that is developing a blockchain network with a Pure Proof of Stake (PPoS) consensus mechanism. Algorand's decentralized platform is designed to enable faster transaction times and remove some of the technical barriers of creating scalable DApps. Algorand was founded by Silvio Micali, a pioneer in the field of cryptography.
