Stakenet vs NEO vs XMax
What problem does this service solve?
Stakenet allows users to participate in the staking process and validate new transactions, without removing their coins from their wallets. | NEO allows developers to create digital assets that can be managed with smart contracts. | XMax will provide developers with the tools to more easily prototype and launch their entertainment-related DApps. |

Company Description
Stakenet is a blockchain with a unique Trustless Proof of Stake (TPoS) consensus mechanism that allows users to participate in the staking process without having to freeze their coins in the wallet. It's powered by the native coin XSN and is managed by its own masternodes. Stakenet (XSN) was created to build an ecosystem that allows easy and secure offline staking and cross chain communication. It has characteristics of Bitcoin, Dash and Peercoin, that were modified for their own purposes. XSN uses the Bitcoin Core, an improved Dash masternode architecture, and Peercoin's validation mechanism for creating new blocks. | NEO, formerly known as AntShares, is one of the leading smart contract enabled blockchain platforms that allows for the development of digital assets. Similar to Ethereum, NEO uses two different tokens: NEO and GAS, each of which have a specific purpose on the network. NEO tokens give holders a share in the ownership of the NEO blockchain, and when they are held in a compatible wallet, they are rewarded with GAS tokens. NEO has a Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance (dBFT) consensus algorithm that has uses some features of PoS, and is designed to be more scalable than other consensus mechanisms. | XMax is creating a developer ecosystem for entertainment DApps. Their entertainment-focused blockchain ecosystem will enable multiple functional sidechains, and will provide a SDK which will make it easier to develop decentralized applications. XMax will also offer a variety of multimedia libraries. The XMax blockchain will have a VRF (Verifiable Random Function) consensus mechanism that will randomly select network users to participate in the verifying transactions. |
