Solana Blockchain vs Flow Blockchain vs ALQO
What problem does this service solve?
Solana allows developers to create DApps with faster performance by separating the consensus process from the recording of transactions. | Flow's goal is to create a DApp development platform that is easier to use for both developers and users. | Alqo is building a blockchain-based platform that will serve as an interconnected ecosystem for DApps. |
Token Stats
Company Description
The Solana blockchain uses an innovative Proof of History mechanism to confirm transactions that are recorded on the network. Solana is designed to separate the consensus process from the flow of transactions. This is done with a recursive, verifiable delay function that hashes incoming transactions, and recording information as a function of time. Every node on the Solana blockchain is assigned a cryptographic clock that enables the network to determine the time and ordering of transactions, without having to wait for consensus from other nodes. By separating the process of transaction verification from their recording, a higher throughput is achieved without sacrificing network security. | The Flow Blockchain aims to be a developer-friendly blockchain for a new generation of DApps and digital assets that power them. Flow Blockchain is based on a unique, multi-role architecture, and is designed to scale without sharding, so that it can accommodate consumer applications with more users. The project was created by Dapper Labs, which previously created Crypto Kitties, one of the most popular blockchain collectible projects. Flow is now being used by NBA Top Shot, an officially licensed NBA platform for player related, blockchan-based collectibles. The founders: Roham Gharegozlou, Dieter Shirley, and Mikhael Naayem launched Flow with the goal of simplifying the DApp development experience. | Alqo is developing an ecosystem of decentralized products and services that will be powered by the Alqo coin (XLQ). Their blockchain-based ecosystem enables instant and anonymous transactions. The XLQ coin is designed to be a multipurpose coin that will be used by all projects in the "Alqo Planetary System." Alqo is currently building Bitfineon (cryptocurrency exchange) and Payinx (payment solution for merchants). They plan on adding more projects (planets) to their ecosystem later. The Alqo network uses a modified Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism and an improved version of Zerocoin for encryption. The Alqo DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) uses a Carbon Voting system to resolve governance issues. |
