Solana Blockchain vs Swarm vs TrueChain
What problem does this service solve?
Solana allows developers to create DApps with faster performance by separating the consensus process from the recording of transactions. | Swarm's tokenization platform allows users to create tokens that represent ownership of part of an asset, secure rights to any revenue streams from that asset, and trade these tokens in a compliant manner. | TrueChain wants to improve blockchain performance with a hybrid consensus model. |
Token Stats
Company Description
The Solana blockchain uses an innovative Proof of History mechanism to confirm transactions that are recorded on the network. Solana is designed to separate the consensus process from the flow of transactions. This is done with a recursive, verifiable delay function that hashes incoming transactions, and recording information as a function of time. Every node on the Solana blockchain is assigned a cryptographic clock that enables the network to determine the time and ordering of transactions, without having to wait for consensus from other nodes. By separating the process of transaction verification from their recording, a higher throughput is achieved without sacrificing network security. | Swarm is building a tokenization platform designed to leverage the benefits of blockchain to make it easier to fund and govern a variety of large real world projects. They hope to make it easier to tokenize real world assets, and make them available as investment opportunities. Swarm is also developing the SRC-20 protocol, which will define a common set of rules that a security token must follow, and will give users the ability to create DApps that follow these accepted properties. Swarm is powered by the SWM token. | TrueChain is developing a secure and scalable blockchain platform with a strong developer community. TrueChain hopes to improve upon current platforms with a hybrid consensus protocol called Minerva. This hybrid model will combine a consensus mechanism based on Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (pBFT) with a FruitChain-based Proof-of-Work protocol. Fruitchain is designed to minimize the incentives of mining pools by decreasing the variance of mining rewards; making the network more decentralized. |
