The founders of Scatter are also developing the Reputation and Identity Layer (RIDL), which will provide a reputation system that will add trust and transparency to the DApp ecosystem.

HYCON is a blockchain platform powered by the Hyperconnected Coin. The decentralized platform has a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) architecture, and is focused on improving scalability and throughput. HYCON's SPECTRE consensus algorithm is designed to enable horizontal scalability, where several blocks can be added at the same time.

The Matic Network is a sidechain based scaling solution for public blockchains. Matic aims to allow developers to better scale their Ethereum DApps by using a version of Plasma, along with side chains that use a PoS consensus mechanism. Matic plans on supporting other blockchains as well in order to facilitate interoperability.
