RSK vs TrueChain vs Avalanche Token
What problem does this service solve?
RSK aims to improve the functionality and scale of the Bitcoin network. | TrueChain wants to improve blockchain performance with a hybrid consensus model. | Avalanche's goal is to enable a more secure and interoperable smart contract platform with faster transactions times. |

Company Description
RSK is an open source smart contract platform that is secured by the Bitcoin network. RSK is designed to add value and increase the functionality of the Bitcoin ecosystem by providing smart contracts that are compatible with the network's code and can be written in Solidity. RSK smart contracts are powered by the SmartBitcoin (RBTC) which is linked to Bitcoin. (1 RBTC=1 BTC) | TrueChain is developing a secure and scalable blockchain platform with a strong developer community. TrueChain hopes to improve upon current platforms with a hybrid consensus protocol called Minerva. This hybrid model will combine a consensus mechanism based on Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (pBFT) with a FruitChain-based Proof-of-Work protocol. Fruitchain is designed to minimize the incentives of mining pools by decreasing the variance of mining rewards; making the network more decentralized. | The Avalanche token (AVAX) performs various tasks within Avalanche's Proof of Stake blockchain network. The Avalanche token functions as a rewards and payment system for users. The network is designed to be an open-source platform for launching highly decentralized applications, enterprise deployments, and decentralized financial instruments. The Avalanche ecosystem is meant to be smore scalable and interoperable than other blockchain platforms. Unlike Bitcoin and many other networks, transaction fees are “burnt” in order to increase token scarcity. This process is offset by the release, or “minting,” of new coins. |
