What problem does this service solve?

RIF's goal is to allow developers to integrate smart contracts on the Bitcoin blockchain.IPFS is a decentralized alternative to HTTP that can be used to make recording blockchain transactions more efficient.ProximaX aims to create a high performance blockchain platform for developers to create DApss with decentralized storage, messaging, streaming, and content delivery services.

Company Description

RIF Token powers the Root Infrastructure Framework Open Standard network. The platform will consist of a suite of open and decentralized infrastructure protocols that will enable faster and easier development of DApps that can work on the Bitcoin blockchain. RIF is built on the RSK smart contract platform, which is secured by Bitcoin's blockchain.

The Interplanetary File System (IPFS) is a decentralized network protocol for sharing hypermedia in a distributed file system. IPFS can be used to link blockchain transactions This effectively timestamps and secures the content, without having to put the data on the chain itself. Filecoin, an IPFS-based decentralized storage cloud, is closely related with the IPFS protocol, and provides the incentive system.

ProximaX is developing a NEM-based platform with several on-chain and off-chain protocols. At its core, ProximaX is based on the NEM blockchain, and is designed to be an all-in-one platform for developing DApps. The platform has several parallel layers that are intended to provide decentralized storage, messaging, streaming, and content delivery services. The network is powered by the NEM-based XPX token. ProximaX intends on using a hybrid consensus mechanism for validating value transfers on these layers. Consensus will be driven with a combination of Proof-of-Importance (PoI), Proof-of-Storage (PoSt), and Proof-of-Bandwidth (PoB).
