RealTract is developing a smart contract platform based on a Directed Acylic Graph (DAG) protocol. They hope to create a faster and more scalable smart contract platform that can handle more use cases. The RealTract network is currently powered by the Ethereum-based RET token.

BitNew Chain is building a development platform for commercial DApps. BitNew Chain aims to make it easier to develop large scale DApps that can be used with hardware. It will be based on a two-tier decentralized blockchain network with standard physical masternodes, resource segregation, a decentralized computing subsystem（BTN-DC）, and decentralized storage subsystem（BTN-FS). Consensus will be achieved through a hybrid mining process that will combine Proof-of-Stake (PoS) with Proof of Masternode. The network is powered by the BTN coin.

FLO is a Proof-of-Work blockchain with a metadata layer called floData. It enables users to easily record notes to its blocks, and can be used to create DApps. One of FLO's central features is the Open Index Protocol, which standardizes cryptographic ownership on open networks. The founders of FLO are also working on Alexandria; an open-source standard for users to publish and distribute original content. FLO's source code is based on that of Bitcoin and Litecoin. It is designed to enable fast transactions times.
