Penta vs ProximaX vs Swarm
What problem does this service solve?
Penta does not appear to solve any problems better than existing blockchain platforms. | ProximaX aims to create a high performance blockchain platform for developers to create DApss with decentralized storage, messaging, streaming, and content delivery services. | Swarm's tokenization platform allows users to create tokens that represent ownership of part of an asset, secure rights to any revenue streams from that asset, and trade these tokens in a compliant manner. |

Company Description
Penta is developing a blockchain platform that DApps can be built on. It will have a Dynamic Stake Consensus (DSC) algorithm to confirm transactions. The Penta network is currently powered by the Ethereum-based PNT token. | ProximaX is developing a NEM-based platform with several on-chain and off-chain protocols. At its core, ProximaX is based on the NEM blockchain, and is designed to be an all-in-one platform for developing DApps. The platform has several parallel layers that are intended to provide decentralized storage, messaging, streaming, and content delivery services. The network is powered by the NEM-based XPX token. ProximaX intends on using a hybrid consensus mechanism for validating value transfers on these layers. Consensus will be driven with a combination of Proof-of-Importance (PoI), Proof-of-Storage (PoSt), and Proof-of-Bandwidth (PoB). | Swarm is building a tokenization platform designed to leverage the benefits of blockchain to make it easier to fund and govern a variety of large real world projects. They hope to make it easier to tokenize real world assets, and make them available as investment opportunities. Swarm is also developing the SRC-20 protocol, which will define a common set of rules that a security token must follow, and will give users the ability to create DApps that follow these accepted properties. Swarm is powered by the SWM token. |
