Nxt is a blockchain platform developed by Jelurida, which is also developing the Ardor blockchain. Nxt's goal is to improve upon existing blockchain platforms with a modular toolset that enables users to create their own digital assets that can be listed on decentralized marketplaces. Nxt also features community driven voting mechanisms and has an architecture that separates the blockchain into parent and child blockchains.
The network is powered by the NXT token and has a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism.

The platform will consist of a suite of open and decentralized infrastructure protocols that will enable faster and easier development of DApps that can work on the Bitcoin blockchain. Scatter is a browser extension for the EOS blockchain that enables users to sign transactions on the EOS blockchain. Users are able to sign transactions with their private keys from web applications without having to expose their personal information. The founders of Scatter are also developing the Reputation and Identity Layer (RIDL), which will provide a reputation system that will add trust and transparency to the DApp ecosystem.
