NEO vs Bytom vs QLC Chain
What problem does this service solve?
NEO allows developers to create digital assets that can be managed with smart contracts. | Bytom aims to create a secondary market for physical assets registered to their blockchain | QLC is building a DApp development platform designed to encourage greater decentralization. |

Company Description
NEO, formerly known as AntShares, is one of the leading smart contract enabled blockchain platforms that allows for the development of digital assets. Similar to Ethereum, NEO uses two different tokens: NEO and GAS, each of which have a specific purpose on the network. NEO tokens give holders a share in the ownership of the NEO blockchain, and when they are held in a compatible wallet, they are rewarded with GAS tokens. NEO has a Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance (dBFT) consensus algorithm that has uses some features of PoS, and is designed to be more scalable than other consensus mechanisms. | Bytom is a Chinese company that is developing a blockchain platform that is specifically designed to register securities and physical assets to the Bytom blockchain. Bytom aims to create a secondary markets for these blockchain registered assets and will allow them to be tokenized. | QLC Chain, formerly known as QLink, is developing a Network-as-a-Service blokchain platform. It will allow them to provide decentralized network services and serve as a DApp development platform. The QLC network is currently built on NEO but will transition to their own blockchain in the future. The QLC Chain will have a hybrid consensus mechanism called Shannon consensus. It will combine elements of delegated Proof-of-Stake (dPoS) with a regulating mechanism that is designed to encourage participation by more nodes. |
