Matic aims to allow developers to better scale their Ethereum DApps by using a version of Plasma, along with side chains that use a PoS consensus mechanism. Matic plans on supporting other blockchains as well in order to facilitate interoperability.

Cryptaur is a Lithuanian company that is buildingg an Ethereum based payment and DApp development network. Cryptaur does not appear to have any distinct advantages over other decentralized networks. Cryptaur has plans to create a social capital management system that will be based on their Proof of Contribution algorithm.

Mainframe is creating a blockchain development platform for decentralized applications. Their marketing materials place a strong emphasis on encryption, privacy, and interoperability. Onyx, a decentralized workplace messaging tool, is the first application to be built on the Mainframe network.
