Matic aims to allow developers to better scale their Ethereum DApps by using a version of Plasma, along with side chains that use a PoS consensus mechanism. Matic plans on supporting other blockchains as well in order to facilitate interoperability.

Cryptaur is a Lithuanian company that is buildingg an Ethereum based payment and DApp development network. Cryptaur does not appear to have any distinct advantages over other decentralized networks. Cryptaur has plans to create a social capital management system that will be based on their Proof of Contribution algorithm.

The Dusk Network is a privacy-oriented blockchain protocol that is designed for creating programmable and confidential securities. Dusk places a strong focus on privacy and aims to make it easier for developers to create digital securities and zero-knowledge DApps. The network is currently powered by the Ethereum based DUSK token.
