Matic aims to allow developers to better scale their Ethereum DApps by using a version of Plasma, along with side chains that use a PoS consensus mechanism. Matic plans on supporting other blockchains as well in order to facilitate interoperability.

Credits is building a blockchain platform focused on speed and scalability. Credits' protocol uses a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (dPoS) consensus mechanism and will be powered by the CS coin. They hope to significantly improve transaction times and reduce fees.

RealTract is developing a smart contract platform based on a Directed Acylic Graph (DAG) protocol. They hope to create a faster and more scalable smart contract platform that can handle more use cases. The RealTract network is currently powered by the Ethereum-based RET token.
