Komodo is a blockchain building platform that is focused on developing anonymity and security focused solutions. Komodo's platform, which was originally a fork of ZCash, is powered by the KMD token, and enables users to send anonymous transactions. Komodo has a delayed Proof of Work consensus algorithm.

One of FLO's central features is the Open Index Protocol, which standardizes cryptographic ownership on open networks. The founders of FLO are also working on Alexandria; an open-source standard for users to publish and distribute original content. FLO's source code is based on that of Bitcoin and Litecoin. It is designed to enable fast transactions times.

Ignis is a blockchain platform that is being developed by Jeluirda; the company behind Ardor and Nxt. Ignis is a child chain of the Nxt blockchain. Jelurida is developing blockchain platforms that will enable users to develop decentralized applications, and will be based on a parent and child chain architecture.
Ignis allows users to create child chains with specific features and to create tokens that meet their needs. This project is closely related to Ardor and Nxt.
