What problem does this service solve?

IPFS is a decentralized alternative to HTTP that can be used to make recording blockchain transactions more efficient.Rise hopes to create a blockchain platform that will have faster transaction times and will handle larger volumes.BitNew Chain aims to make it easier to develop large scale DApps that can be used with a variety of hardware. They also claim that it will enable cross-chain communication and token exchanges.

Company Description

The Interplanetary File System (IPFS) is a decentralized network protocol for sharing hypermedia in a distributed file system. IPFS can be used to link blockchain transactions This effectively timestamps and secures the content, without having to put the data on the chain itself. Filecoin, an IPFS-based decentralized storage cloud, is closely related with the IPFS protocol, and provides the incentive system.

Rise is building a blockchain development platform with dPoS consensus. Their protocol uses a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (dPoS) consensus mechanism and will be powered by the RISE coin. They hope to significantly improve transaction times and reduce fees, while providing developers with a tool set to create DApps in several programming languages.

BitNew Chain is building a development platform for commercial DApps. BitNew Chain aims to make it easier to develop large scale DApps that can be used with hardware. It will be based on a two-tier decentralized blockchain network with standard physical masternodes, resource segregation, a decentralized computing subsystem(BTN-DC), and decentralized storage subsystem(BTN-FS). Consensus will be achieved through a hybrid mining process that will combine Proof-of-Stake (PoS) with Proof of Masternode. The network is powered by the BTN coin.
