Ignis vs BOScoin vs NEO
What problem does this service solve?
Ignis allows users to create DApps on the Nxt blockchain. It's vision and benefits are somewhat unclear. | BOScoin wants to make a protocol for better smart contracts that will ensure that these blockchain-based agreements will always provide a binary response. | NEO allows developers to create digital assets that can be managed with smart contracts. |

Company Description
Ignis is a blockchain platform that is being developed by Jeluirda; the company behind Ardor and Nxt. Ignis is a child chain of the Nxt blockchain. Jelurida is developing blockchain platforms that will enable users to develop decentralized applications, and will be based on a parent and child chain architecture. | BOScoin is a South Korean company that is developing a self-evolving cryptocurrency platform for trust contracts. It uses an embedded decision-making system called Congress Network and has a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. BOScoin is working to construct an algorithm for smart contracts that will ensure binary responses. BOScoin tries to solve this problem of undecidability of smart contracts by using a domain-specific language understandable by the average user. It also tries to mathematically demonstrate the decidability of its smart contracts’ implementation. To do this, they've introduced the concept of Trust Contracts; which are securely executable contracts based on a technology called Owlchain. | NEO, formerly known as AntShares, is one of the leading smart contract enabled blockchain platforms that allows for the development of digital assets. Similar to Ethereum, NEO uses two different tokens: NEO and GAS, each of which have a specific purpose on the network. NEO tokens give holders a share in the ownership of the NEO blockchain, and when they are held in a compatible wallet, they are rewarded with GAS tokens. NEO has a Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance (dBFT) consensus algorithm that has uses some features of PoS, and is designed to be more scalable than other consensus mechanisms. |
