Company Description
FLO is a Proof-of-Work blockchain with a metadata layer called floData. It enables users to easily record notes to its blocks, and can be used to create DApps. One of FLO's central features is the Open Index Protocol, which standardizes cryptographic ownership on open networks. The founders of FLO are also working on Alexandria; an open-source standard for users to publish and distribute original content. FLO's source code is based on that of Bitcoin and Litecoin. It is designed to enable fast transactions times. | TrueChain is developing a secure and scalable blockchain platform with a strong developer community. TrueChain hopes to improve upon current platforms with a hybrid consensus protocol called Minerva. This hybrid model will combine a consensus mechanism based on Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (pBFT) with a FruitChain-based Proof-of-Work protocol. Fruitchain is designed to minimize the incentives of mining pools by decreasing the variance of mining rewards; making the network more decentralized. | Scatter is a browser extension for the EOS blockchain that enables users to sign transactions on the EOS blockchain. Users are able to sign transactions with their private keys from web applications without having to expose their personal information. The founders of Scatter are also developing the Reputation and Identity Layer (RIDL), which will provide a reputation system that will add trust and transparency to the DApp ecosystem. |
