Company Description
FLO is a Proof-of-Work blockchain with a metadata layer called floData. It enables users to easily record notes to its blocks, and can be used to create DApps. One of FLO's central features is the Open Index Protocol, which standardizes cryptographic ownership on open networks. The founders of FLO are also working on Alexandria; an open-source standard for users to publish and distribute original content. FLO's source code is based on that of Bitcoin and Litecoin. It is designed to enable fast transactions times. | TrueChain is developing a secure and scalable blockchain platform with a strong developer community. TrueChain hopes to improve upon current platforms with a hybrid consensus protocol called Minerva. This hybrid model will combine a consensus mechanism based on Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (pBFT) with a FruitChain-based Proof-of-Work protocol. Fruitchain is designed to minimize the incentives of mining pools by decreasing the variance of mining rewards; making the network more decentralized. | Alqo is developing an ecosystem of decentralized products and services that will be powered by the Alqo coin (XLQ). Their blockchain-based ecosystem enables instant and anonymous transactions. The XLQ coin is designed to be a multipurpose coin that will be used by all projects in the "Alqo Planetary System." Alqo is currently building Bitfineon (cryptocurrency exchange) and Payinx (payment solution for merchants). They plan on adding more projects (planets) to their ecosystem later. The Alqo network uses a modified Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism and an improved version of Zerocoin for encryption. The Alqo DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) uses a Carbon Voting system to resolve governance issues. |
