Instead of a blockchain, Fantom's Lachesis Protocol uses a directed acyclic graph to confirm transactions asynchronously. This transaction history is immutable and cannot be modified. The platform's Opera Chain will consist of three layers: an application Layer, Opera Ware Layer, and Opera Core Layer. Fanotm issued an Ethereum-based token in 2018.

CyberMiles is developing a decentralized ecosystem for e-commerce. Their blockchain platform will provide users a library of e-commerce focused smart contracts to develop DApps and will facilitate decentralized settlements between parties.
The Cybermiles blockchain will be optimized specifically for e-commerce exchanges and will maintain records of users' identities, credit histories, and reputation scores. Users will be able to enter into smart business contracts without human intervention.

XMax is creating a developer ecosystem for entertainment DApps. The XMax blockchain will have a VRF (Verifiable Random Function) consensus mechanism that will randomly select network users to participate in the verifying transactions.
