The Elrond blockchain is aimed at DApp developers and enterprises. Elrond will have a Prof of Stake consensus mechanism, and will include an Adaptive State Sharding feature that will allow multiple validators to process transactions in parallel.

Ignis is a blockchain platform that is being developed by Jeluirda; the company behind Ardor and Nxt. Ignis is a child chain of the Nxt blockchain. Jelurida is developing blockchain platforms that will enable users to develop decentralized applications, and will be based on a parent and child chain architecture.
Ignis allows users to create child chains with specific features and to create tokens that meet their needs. This project is closely related to Ardor and Nxt.

Lisk is a blockchain-based platform that allows developers to build and publish their own applications. Lisk uses sidechain development kits, that are written in Javascript, to enable users to create their own blockchain applications according to their needs. Each decentralized App runs on its own sidechain that can be customized, and is connected to the Lisk blockchain, which has a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (dPoS) consensus mechanism. The Lisk network is powered by the LSK coin.
