What problem does this service solve?

Cybermiles' goal is to provide for a toolkit for developers building decentralized e-commerce applications.QuarkChain hopes to create a more scalable blockchain platform that will have faster transaction times.Swarm's tokenization platform allows users to create tokens that represent ownership of part of an asset, secure rights to any revenue streams from that asset, and trade these tokens in a compliant manner.

Company Description

CyberMiles is developing a decentralized ecosystem for e-commerce. Their blockchain platform will provide users a library of e-commerce focused smart contracts to develop DApps and will facilitate decentralized settlements between parties.
The Cybermiles blockchain will be optimized specifically for e-commerce exchanges and will maintain records of users' identities, credit histories, and reputation scores. Users will be able to enter into smart business contracts without human intervention.
The CMT token will power the CyberMiles e-commerce network

QuarkChain is building a blockchain with a focus on speed and scalability. They hope to significantly improve transaction times and reduce fees with an architecture that will rely on a two-layered blockchain and elastic sharding. QuarkChain uses a hybrid Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus mechanism that is ASIC-resistant. Transactions are first confirmed on one blockchain layer, and then on the second. The network will be powered by the QKC coin.

Swarm is building a tokenization platform designed to leverage the benefits of blockchain to make it easier to fund and govern a variety of large real world projects. They hope to make it easier to tokenize real world assets, and make them available as investment opportunities. Swarm is also developing the SRC-20 protocol, which will define a common set of rules that a security token must follow, and will give users the ability to create DApps that follow these accepted properties. Swarm is powered by the SWM token.
