What problem does this service solve?

Chromia's relational blockchain structure will allow developers to create DApps with data that can be better indexed and queried, and more easily manipulated.Elrond will allow developers to create more scalable DApps with faster transaction times. The Tendermint consensus algorithm secures transactions in the Cosmos ecosystem.

Company Description

Chromia is a relational blockchain platform that is designed to be both a blockchain and a relational database. Chromia was created by a Swedish development company called ChromaWay, with the intention of combining the advantages of a blockchain's transparency with the benefits of a relational database system, such as data independence and reduced redundancy.

The Elrond blockchain platform is designed to be a public development infrastructure that will be more secure, efficient, and scalable than other blockchain platforms. The Elrond blockchain is aimed at DApp developers and enterprises. Elrond will have a Prof of Stake consensus mechanism, and will include an Adaptive State Sharding feature that will allow multiple validators to process transactions in parallel.

Tendermint is a consensus algorithm that was created by a company called All in Bits. The open source algorithm is Byzantine Fault-Tolerant and uses an authenticated encryption system to secure transactions. The Tendermint consensus mechanism was developed in 2014 for the Cosmos Network. The Interchain Foundation, which is developing the Cosmos Network, continues to employ All in Bits to support Cosmos.
