What problem does this service solve?

Chromia's relational blockchain structure will allow developers to create DApps with data that can be better indexed and queried, and more easily manipulated.Elrond will allow developers to create more scalable DApps with faster transaction times.ProximaX aims to create a high performance blockchain platform for developers to create DApss with decentralized storage, messaging, streaming, and content delivery services.

Company Description

Chromia is a relational blockchain platform that is designed to be both a blockchain and a relational database. Chromia was created by a Swedish development company called ChromaWay, with the intention of combining the advantages of a blockchain's transparency with the benefits of a relational database system, such as data independence and reduced redundancy.

The Elrond blockchain platform is designed to be a public development infrastructure that will be more secure, efficient, and scalable than other blockchain platforms. The Elrond blockchain is aimed at DApp developers and enterprises. Elrond will have a Prof of Stake consensus mechanism, and will include an Adaptive State Sharding feature that will allow multiple validators to process transactions in parallel.

ProximaX is developing a NEM-based platform with several on-chain and off-chain protocols. At its core, ProximaX is based on the NEM blockchain, and is designed to be an all-in-one platform for developing DApps. The platform has several parallel layers that are intended to provide decentralized storage, messaging, streaming, and content delivery services. The network is powered by the NEM-based XPX token. ProximaX intends on using a hybrid consensus mechanism for validating value transfers on these layers. Consensus will be driven with a combination of Proof-of-Importance (PoI), Proof-of-Storage (PoSt), and Proof-of-Bandwidth (PoB).
