CanonChain vs TrueChain vs Flow Blockchain
What problem does this service solve?
CannonChain's consensus mechanism encourages contributing network resources on smaller scales. | TrueChain wants to improve blockchain performance with a hybrid consensus model. | Flow's goal is to create a DApp development platform that is easier to use for both developers and users. |

Company Description
CanonChain is developing an underlying blockchain protocol based on Fog networking and a Proof-of-Participation (PoP) consensus mechanism. Their network is designed to provide incentives for contributing computing resources on fragmented networks, and is powered by the Ethereum-based CZR token, known as Xuanchi. | TrueChain is developing a secure and scalable blockchain platform with a strong developer community. TrueChain hopes to improve upon current platforms with a hybrid consensus protocol called Minerva. This hybrid model will combine a consensus mechanism based on Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (pBFT) with a FruitChain-based Proof-of-Work protocol. Fruitchain is designed to minimize the incentives of mining pools by decreasing the variance of mining rewards; making the network more decentralized. | The Flow Blockchain aims to be a developer-friendly blockchain for a new generation of DApps and digital assets that power them. Flow Blockchain is based on a unique, multi-role architecture, and is designed to scale without sharding, so that it can accommodate consumer applications with more users. The project was created by Dapper Labs, which previously created Crypto Kitties, one of the most popular blockchain collectible projects. Flow is now being used by NBA Top Shot, an officially licensed NBA platform for player related, blockchan-based collectibles. The founders: Roham Gharegozlou, Dieter Shirley, and Mikhael Naayem launched Flow with the goal of simplifying the DApp development experience. |
