Company Description
BitNew Chain is building a development platform for commercial DApps. BitNew Chain aims to make it easier to develop large scale DApps that can be used with hardware. It will be based on a two-tier decentralized blockchain network with standard physical masternodes, resource segregation, a decentralized computing subsystem(BTN-DC), and decentralized storage subsystem(BTN-FS). Consensus will be achieved through a hybrid mining process that will combine Proof-of-Stake (PoS) with Proof of Masternode. The network is powered by the BTN coin. | Nxt is a blockchain platform developed by Jelurida, which is also developing the Ardor blockchain. Nxt's goal is to improve upon existing blockchain platforms with a modular toolset that enables users to create their own digital assets that can be listed on decentralized marketplaces. Nxt also features community driven voting mechanisms and has an architecture that separates the blockchain into parent and child blockchains. | Tendermint is a consensus algorithm that was created by a company called All in Bits. The open source algorithm is Byzantine Fault-Tolerant and uses an authenticated encryption system to secure transactions. The Tendermint consensus mechanism was developed in 2014 for the Cosmos Network. The Interchain Foundation, which is developing the Cosmos Network, continues to employ All in Bits to support Cosmos. |
