BitNew Chain vs NEO vs XYO Network
What problem does this service solve?
BitNew Chain aims to make it easier to develop large scale DApps that can be used with a variety of hardware. They also claim that it will enable cross-chain communication and token exchanges. | NEO allows developers to create digital assets that can be managed with smart contracts. | The XYO Network will allow smart contracts and DApps to use location verification services. |

Company Description
BitNew Chain is building a development platform for commercial DApps. BitNew Chain aims to make it easier to develop large scale DApps that can be used with hardware. It will be based on a two-tier decentralized blockchain network with standard physical masternodes, resource segregation, a decentralized computing subsystem(BTN-DC), and decentralized storage subsystem(BTN-FS). Consensus will be achieved through a hybrid mining process that will combine Proof-of-Stake (PoS) with Proof of Masternode. The network is powered by the BTN coin. | NEO, formerly known as AntShares, is one of the leading smart contract enabled blockchain platforms that allows for the development of digital assets. Similar to Ethereum, NEO uses two different tokens: NEO and GAS, each of which have a specific purpose on the network. NEO tokens give holders a share in the ownership of the NEO blockchain, and when they are held in a compatible wallet, they are rewarded with GAS tokens. NEO has a Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance (dBFT) consensus algorithm that has uses some features of PoS, and is designed to be more scalable than other consensus mechanisms. | The XY Oracle Network is a blockchan-based location verification service. It is designed to be compatible with many devices and across different smart contract protocols. XYO uses innovative cryptographic techniques to combine real-world data with a blockchain-based system that can be used by DApps. The XYO Network was developed by a San Diego based company called XY, that makes GPS and Bluetooth devices. The company is building the network's infrastructure that will consist of location-verifying beacons that will enable smart contracts to incorporate location data. The network is powered by the Ethereum-based XYO token. |
