BitNew Chain vs NEO vs High Performance Blockchain
What problem does this service solve?
BitNew Chain aims to make it easier to develop large scale DApps that can be used with a variety of hardware. They also claim that it will enable cross-chain communication and token exchanges. | NEO allows developers to create digital assets that can be managed with smart contracts. | HPB is building an improved blockchain infrastructure based on hardware accelerator chip drivers. It wants to drastically increase the number of transactions that can be processed. |

Company Description
BitNew Chain is building a development platform for commercial DApps. BitNew Chain aims to make it easier to develop large scale DApps that can be used with hardware. It will be based on a two-tier decentralized blockchain network with standard physical masternodes, resource segregation, a decentralized computing subsystem(BTN-DC), and decentralized storage subsystem(BTN-FS). Consensus will be achieved through a hybrid mining process that will combine Proof-of-Stake (PoS) with Proof of Masternode. The network is powered by the BTN coin. | NEO, formerly known as AntShares, is one of the leading smart contract enabled blockchain platforms that allows for the development of digital assets. Similar to Ethereum, NEO uses two different tokens: NEO and GAS, each of which have a specific purpose on the network. NEO tokens give holders a share in the ownership of the NEO blockchain, and when they are held in a compatible wallet, they are rewarded with GAS tokens. NEO has a Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance (dBFT) consensus algorithm that has uses some features of PoS, and is designed to be more scalable than other consensus mechanisms. | High Performance Blockchain (HPB) is a Chinese company that is developing an improved blockchain infrastructure. Their goal is to dramatically improve the speed of transactions and throughput of existing blockchain systems. HPB has been called the EOS of China. |
