BitNew Chain vs Infura vs TrueChain
What problem does this service solve?
BitNew Chain aims to make it easier to develop large scale DApps that can be used with a variety of hardware. They also claim that it will enable cross-chain communication and token exchanges. | Infura's developer tools make it easier for DApps to access Ethereum and IPFS. | TrueChain wants to improve blockchain performance with a hybrid consensus model. |

Company Description
BitNew Chain is building a development platform for commercial DApps. BitNew Chain aims to make it easier to develop large scale DApps that can be used with hardware. It will be based on a two-tier decentralized blockchain network with standard physical masternodes, resource segregation, a decentralized computing subsystem(BTN-DC), and decentralized storage subsystem(BTN-FS). Consensus will be achieved through a hybrid mining process that will combine Proof-of-Stake (PoS) with Proof of Masternode. The network is powered by the BTN coin. | Infura is a DApp infrastructure provider that was created by ConsenSys and gives developers the tools to securely access Ethereum and IPFS. Their API enables users to set up Ethereum Nodes, and then install, configure, and maintain the Ethereum infrastructure more easily, and at lower cost. Infura was originally created by ConsenSys. | TrueChain is developing a secure and scalable blockchain platform with a strong developer community. TrueChain hopes to improve upon current platforms with a hybrid consensus protocol called Minerva. This hybrid model will combine a consensus mechanism based on Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (pBFT) with a FruitChain-based Proof-of-Work protocol. Fruitchain is designed to minimize the incentives of mining pools by decreasing the variance of mining rewards; making the network more decentralized. |
