Avalanche Token vs XMax vs Matic Network
What problem does this service solve?
Avalanche's goal is to enable a more secure and interoperable smart contract platform with faster transactions times. | XMax will provide developers with the tools to more easily prototype and launch their entertainment-related DApps. | Matic provides scalability for DApps and smart contracts. |
Token Stats
Company Description
The Avalanche token (AVAX) performs various tasks within Avalanche's Proof of Stake blockchain network. The Avalanche token functions as a rewards and payment system for users. The network is designed to be an open-source platform for launching highly decentralized applications, enterprise deployments, and decentralized financial instruments. The Avalanche ecosystem is meant to be smore scalable and interoperable than other blockchain platforms. Unlike Bitcoin and many other networks, transaction fees are “burnt” in order to increase token scarcity. This process is offset by the release, or “minting,” of new coins. | XMax is creating a developer ecosystem for entertainment DApps. Their entertainment-focused blockchain ecosystem will enable multiple functional sidechains, and will provide a SDK which will make it easier to develop decentralized applications. XMax will also offer a variety of multimedia libraries. The XMax blockchain will have a VRF (Verifiable Random Function) consensus mechanism that will randomly select network users to participate in the verifying transactions. | The Matic Network is a sidechain based scaling solution for public blockchains. Matic aims to allow developers to better scale their Ethereum DApps by using a version of Plasma, along with side chains that use a PoS consensus mechanism. Matic plans on supporting other blockchains as well in order to facilitate interoperability. |
