APIS vs Solana Blockchain vs Kadena
What problem does this service solve?
APIS will allow users to invest their coins on a network masternode without having to stake a large number of coins or deal with the technical requirements of setting one up. | Solana allows developers to create DApps with faster performance by separating the consensus process from the recording of transactions. | Kadena is a software development company working to encourage business adoption of blockchain. They create custom-built solutions for their clients that use both private and public blockchains. |

Company Description
APIS is developing a masternode mediation platform that will lower the barriers of entry for users wanting invest their coins on their own masternode of a network. A masternode is a type of node that has additional voting influence and block rewards, on a Proof-of-Stake network. Investors are able to place coins on a masternode and receive a stable interest from the block rewards; similar to interest that is given in a bank. APIS will allow users to invest in masternodes without having to deal with the technical requirements or stake a prohibitively large number of coins. | The Solana blockchain uses an innovative Proof of History mechanism to confirm transactions that are recorded on the network. Solana is designed to separate the consensus process from the flow of transactions. This is done with a recursive, verifiable delay function that hashes incoming transactions, and recording information as a function of time. Every node on the Solana blockchain is assigned a cryptographic clock that enables the network to determine the time and ordering of transactions, without having to wait for consensus from other nodes. By separating the process of transaction verification from their recording, a higher throughput is achieved without sacrificing network security. | Kadena is a software development company that builds blockchain-based platforms for a range of businesses. They develop purpose-built blockchain solutions for their clients by using proprietary solutions that are aimed at being both secure and scalable. Kadena offers both private and public blockchain platforms, with smart contracts written in the Pact programming language. They've also developed an innovative proof-of-work architecture called ChainWeb that could have a variety of applications. |
