Company Description
Aeternity is a smart contract driven blockchain platform that aims to integrate real world data and improve the overall performance of smart contracts. Aeternity has a hybrid consensus algorithm that combines PoW for verifying transactions, and PoS for governance purposes. The platform is based on a system of state channels that allow users to interact privately with each other and record this information off-chain. | QLC Chain, formerly known as QLink, is developing a Network-as-a-Service blokchain platform. It will allow them to provide decentralized network services and serve as a DApp development platform. The QLC network is currently built on NEO but will transition to their own blockchain in the future. The QLC Chain will have a hybrid consensus mechanism called Shannon consensus. It will combine elements of delegated Proof-of-Stake (dPoS) with a regulating mechanism that is designed to encourage participation by more nodes. | NEO, formerly known as AntShares, is one of the leading smart contract enabled blockchain platforms that allows for the development of digital assets. Similar to Ethereum, NEO uses two different tokens: NEO and GAS, each of which have a specific purpose on the network. NEO tokens give holders a share in the ownership of the NEO blockchain, and when they are held in a compatible wallet, they are rewarded with GAS tokens. NEO has a Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance (dBFT) consensus algorithm that has uses some features of PoS, and is designed to be more scalable than other consensus mechanisms. |
