Company Description

PLATINCOIN is a Proof-of-Stake coin that is minted instead of mined. Users participate in managing the network by renting hardware space from the project organizers for a period of 36 months. These computing resources will drive the PoS consensus, and the users that rent the hardware will be rewarded with newly minted PLC coins.

Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency with a focus on fun, generosity, and community. It is unlike many other blockchain projects in that it does not aim to solve any ambitious problems. Dogecoin was originally created as a meme coin and has gained a large following that use the coin (DOGE) as an internet tipping and fundraising system.
Although Dogecoin was first created as somewhat of a joke, it has a passionate community that has used the platform for a variety of purposes. The project has gained widespread publicity and DOGE is traded on many exchanges.

Apollo is developing an all-in-one cryptocurrency platform, based on the APL coin. Apollo was created as a fork of NXT, and has a very ambitious plan to integrate a variety of services under one platform, with a strong focus on privacy. Apollo's blockchain is called Hermes and has a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism. Some of the features that Apollo's marketing materials claim they are working on are: private transactions with IP masking, smart contracts, encrypted messaging, file sharing, a decentralized marketplace, voting system for governance, decentralized data storage, and a wallet with a built in exchange. John McAfee, a notable blockchain enthusiast and antivirus pioneer, joined the project in October 2018.
