Although Dogecoin was first created as somewhat of a joke, it has a passionate community that has used the platform for a variety of purposes. The project has gained widespread publicity and DOGE is traded on many exchanges.

MOL's architecture will be based on the block lattice design used in Nano, and will have a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (dPoS) consensus mechanism that incorporates elements from Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAG). The MOL network is currently powered by the Ethereum-based MOL token.

Lightning Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency protocol with a DPoS consensus mechanism. It is a hard fork of Bitcoin that was created with the goal of improving transaction speeds and scalabilty. Lightning Bitcoin's on-chain governance system enables LBTC holders to vote for the blockchain improvement proposals and the delegates who maintain the network as Lightning Nodes. Lightning Bitcoin is not related to the Lighting Network, which is an off-chain protocol built on the Bitcoin blockchain.
