Divi is a Proof of Stake cryptocurrency with a masternode system designed to encourage network participation. The project is focused on facilitating adoption of cryptocurrencies by creating a system of incentives for both everyday users and those that help run the networks. Divi's masternode system has five layers of participation and awards users for staking their coins. Divi has an innovative lottery block system that randomly pays out lottery prizes in the form of new coins to network users.

Bitcoin Diamond is a hardfork of Bitcoin that was created in 2017. Although the network's code preserves much of Bitcoin's original features, it aims to improve transaction speeds by implementing the Lightning network and increasing the storage capabilities of each block. The Lightning Network is a second layer payment protocol that works on the Bitcoin blockchain and is designed to place a large portion of the transaction data outside of the blockchain.

ICON is powered by a unique system called loopchain, that can adopt different features, rules, and consensus systems. The loopchain has different circles, with nodes that connect it. There are community nodes and individual nodes that are all connected to the ICON Republic, which is the entire ecosystem. These nodes can connect in countless ways and results in unlimited applications. The network has an innovative consensus mechanism called Delegated Proof-of-Contribution (DPoC).
