The project is meant to be a social experiment and financial case study to determine the feasibility of a deflationary currency. There were originally 1,000,000 BOMB in circulation, and 1% of each transaction is destroyed. | Bitcoin Diamond is a hardfork of Bitcoin that was created in 2017. Although the network's code preserves much of Bitcoin's original features, it aims to improve transaction speeds by implementing the Lightning network and increasing the storage capabilities of each block.
