Company Description

Bitcoin Interest is a fork of the Bitcoin protocol that pays coin holders interest. Bitcoin Interest (BCI) allows users to securely earn interest payments without ever moving coins from their wallets. Bitcoin Interest's developers believe that paying interest, weekly or monthly, on inactive crypto-funds can benefit the entire cryptocurrency market by reducing volatility.
Bitcoin Interest (BCI) is the first cryptocurrency protocol to use the ProgPoW consensus algorithm. ProgPoW is a Proof-of-Work algorithm designed to reduce the centralizing tendencies of ASIC mining by making it easier for standard GPU devices to participate in the mining process.

PLATINCOIN is a Proof-of-Stake coin that is minted instead of mined. Users participate in managing the network by renting hardware space from the project organizers for a period of 36 months. These computing resources will drive the PoS consensus, and the users that rent the hardware will be rewarded with newly minted PLC coins.

Ravencoin is a blockchain created by the owner of Overstock.com. It is a use case specific blockchain for the declaration of ownership of digital assets. Ravecoin is a fork of Bitcoin, and was originally funded by Medici Ventures, a blockchain investment fund owned by Overstock.com.
Ravencoin's name is inspired by the use of Ravens in sending messages, and its blockchain is designed to carry statements of truth about who owns what asset. The developers created a new consensus algorithm called x16r to solve the problems of centralized ASIC mining. The algorithm is unique in that it consists of 16 different hashing algorithms whose order are randomly changed.
