The Polkadot blockchain is a multi-chain blockchain that is designed to bundle multiple chains together so that they can be executed in parallel. MOAC is developing a multi-layer blockchain platform that aims to improve transaction speeds and scalability. MOAC's architecture is divided into a main chain and microchains, and uses sharding to improve network performance. This enables an asynchronous smart contract platform that increases the number of contracts that can be processed, as well as transaction speed.
