Kusama coin is the native coin of the Kusama blockchain, which is intended to serve as an unaudited and unrefined release of Polkadot. Kusama will serve as a trail version for Polkdadot, and will allow developers to build and deploy a parachain or try out Polkadot’s governance, staking, nomination and validation functionality in a real environment.

The Kava token fuels the Kava.io cross-chain collateralized debt platform. Kava’s multi collateral CDP system allows users to collateralize a variety of assets so that they can increase their exposure to favorable trading conditions in volatile markets. The Kava platform is secured by over 100 validators and uses the Tendermint consensus algorithm.

Wanchain is a cross-chain protocol for inter-chain transactions. It was originally a fork of Ethereum, but is now a completely separate blockchain called the WAN chain, that also has a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism.
