IRISnet vs RChain vs Nervos Network
What problem does this service solve?
IRISnet's goal is to enable the development of decentralized business applications that work across different blockchain networks. | RChain is building a cross-chain DApp platform that hopes to improve scalablity and speed. | The Nervos Network's goal is to be multi-asset, store of value platform. |

Company Description
IRISnet is a blockchain network that is built on top of Cosmos. It aims to enable the integration of off-chain computing, as well as greater inter-operability across blockchain networks. IRISnet uses the Tendermint protocol as a consensus mechanism. | RChain is building a cross-chain blockchain platform that hopes to improve transaction speeds and scalability. RChain smart contracts are written in Rholang and are run concurrently on the Rho Virtual Machine. Rholang stands for reflective higher-order language, and supports internal concurrent programming to improve smart contract processing. | The Nervos Network is an open-source public blockchain ecosystem that is designed to secure multiple assets. Unlike other smart contract platforms that require users to pay transaction fees to help secure the underlying networks, the Nervos Network hopes to create an incentive system that will enable multiple assets to be secured regardless of their price volatility. It does this by capturing the total network value through its native coin the Nervos CKByte, which entitles holders to storage rights on the Nervos blockchain. The network uses a PoW consensus mechanism. |
