About Hyperledger Project
The Hyperledger Project is a collaborative association of companies working to develop blockchain technologies. It was established by the Linux Foundation, and consists of many large and influential companies, such as American Express, Baidu, Cisco, Accenture, J.P. Morgan, and IBM. Hyperledger's goal is to encourage cross-industry collaboration in the development of blockchains and distributed ledgers. They promote and incubate a variety of distributed ledger frameworks, smart contract engines, client libraries, graphical interfaces, utility libraries and decentralized applications. Hyperledger's collaborative framework enables faster innovation among its members.
