Blockchain President; Who’s The Best Blockchain Candidate

The Best Blockchain President?

With the Democratic primary season in full swing and “Super Tuesday” upon us, we looked at the remaining candidates’ economic positions, and previous comments, to grade their potential to be the best blockchain president. Who is most likely to advance a Blockchain-friendly agenda? Aside from Mike Bloomberg, none of the candidates have released any substantial policy proposals about how to address this transformational technology. For this reason, we’re forced to consider their overall economic, fiscal, and monetary positions to predict who would take the most progressive positions on potential issues that could impact the evolution of Blockchain and Crypto.

Will A Real Blockchain Policy Please Stand Up

Blockchain is a quickly evolving space, and it’s clear that regulators will need to take more decisive action to ensure that innovation can continue while the interests of investors are protected. Sadly, it doesn’t seem like most of the Democratic candidates still competing for the nomination believe that this is an issue that demands more leadership from them.
While the technology is still unproven and cryptocurrencies remain a highly speculative asset class with frequent cases of fraud, Blockchain promises to change the way we transact, and it is likely to transform markets in ways that we can’t yet predict. If the United States wants to remain competitive in the coming years, it’s imperative that politicians realize the need to adapt the regulatory landscape for this new reality.
