This significantly limits the overall blockchain size, and also allows child chains to be used for specific purposes.

Oracle's Blockchain Cloud Service is part of the Oracle platform, which is already widely used by a wide range of companies, and consists of a variety of SaaS tools. They hope to combine their existing offerings with blockchain capabilities to assist their customers in deploying applications.
