Company Description

Hewlett Packard's blockchain as a service platform, called Mission Critical Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), allows its customers to run distributed ledger processes on an enterprise platform. HP developed this solution in conjunction with R3, and is now offering it as a BaaS option to their enterprise customers.

Insolar is a blockchain technology company that is developing an open source enterprise-grade blockchain platform. Their goal is to allow companies to transition their existing business processes, and data systems, to an enterprise blockchain that will create efficiencies and new revenue sources. Insolar also provides blockchain consulting services for companies in need of distributed ledger solutions. The company was originally focused on using blockchain to improve supply chains and logistics in the grocery industry, but they have since expanded their scope. Their network is currently powered by the Ethereum-based INS token.

Stratis provides a user friendly solution for developing a blockchain application. One of it's advantages is that it doesn't require learning a new coding language. It uses C# on the .Net framework. Stratis has become a popular platform for blockchain developers. The Cloud Stratis platform allows clients to deploy their dAPPS without having to maintain the network. It can create blockchain nodes for several blockchain, such as: Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Bitshares. The Stratis coin is the unit of currency on the Stratis blockchain, which has a Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism.
